HSMWorks Lathe Module is very Broken

There are many issues with the HSMWorks lathe module, for instance...

When boring, IDs are OD, ODs are ID. This is extremely confusion to constantly try and make sense of all the heights whose nomenclature make absolutely no sense for turning.

The threading tools are limited to UN full profile.  In Fusion, you can at least specify a sharp point. There are no options to setup your own inserts or holders. basically stuck with the "Fisher-Price" tool library.

The threading instructions incorrectly specify thread height as the major dia minus minor dia, which is equal to the pitch. Thread height is actually half the pitch. These issues are fixed in fusion, so why not in HSMWorks. Its basically changing some text.

Reliability is out the door - We have HSMWorks on 3 different PCs and all experience numerous crashes each day. So many crashes that its getting to the point to looks for other solution. Its almost not worth using this software anymore. Seems like there is no interest in fixing HSMWorks.

You cannot complain about HSMWorks as much as you want, just remember there haven't been any new lathe\milling updtes\improvements in at least 8 years, every new lathe enhancements are in Fusion, HSMWorks is where it is at until they kill it.

use Fusion you have both, same post works in both, this is what we do here in our shop here at ASU.

sorry, not broken, it's where it's at when they stop enhancements.

I've finally have come to grips with it and have move forward.
