Many milling machines are equipped with a Siemens 808D Advanced controller, but there is no specific post processor available from AutoDesk. I have tried using the 810D and 840D posts that are available but they are not compatible with the features and requirements of the 808D. When using the 808D post that my machine supplier sent me, all works well except parallel cuts clip the tops of geometry. See the attached Cutviewer screen shorts comparing the output of the Siemens post versus the Fanuc post. The Fanuc does the geometry smoothly but has too many differences than the Siemens post to make it usable.
