Fanuc Laser

Fanuc Laser

We have recently been working on developing a post processor for Laser machines with a Fanuc control. We have finished development and have now released the post as BETA.

If you would be interested in testing this post and providing feedback on it's performance, it can be downloaded

I have tried to download this post and it will not let it work in fusion 360?

Hello,

Thanks for the feedback. Are you receiving an error message? If so, please could you post it here?

Many thanks

I just keeps saying its not a supported file type

The post processor is a CPS file which can be selected inside of the post dialog window. You will not be able to open the .CPS file as a document inside of Fusion / HSM

The post seems to be generating code that does not match the geometry of the part. I have used both in computer and in control to adjust the code with no luck. I also changed the kerf size with no luck. Below is a small peice of code to cut a .250 wide slot and you can see the I.0.1324 when is shout be I0.1250

Hi @anderson_matthew7.

I can't seem to see the part file you attached. Please could you email it to cam.posts@autodesk.com?

Just downloaded and we are working on setting up an older Fanuc Laser.
We also have some Waterjet machines and the download indicates this may also work with Waterjets.

I will try to report back.

Did you ever build a final version of this post processor?

Is there anywhere we can download it?

No answer so far. But I did find out that older Amada Lasers use the same fanuc laser controller.

Amada post processor if anyone is looking for a possible solution. Will update results once we test out.
