Hi @sebastien.vandewynckel ,

You need to debug the file and you will know each and every moves and toolpath data on that file.

To know how to debug, Please click here.

Hi @sebastien.vandewynckel

How to use Autodesk Fusion 360 Post Processor Utility. You can download/watch it from here.

Step : Select CNC file and press  Ctrl+Alt+G. It will open debug file on side-window and allows you to find(Double click on NC codes) the location of Post script codes from the NC codes.

How to enable debug mode. You can download/watch it from here.

Step:  Click F1, It will open the command window and choose HSM to debug Mode then select true to turn on debug mode. Now select the CNC file which you want to test and press Ctr+Atr+G., It will open a debug window.

I hope this helps

Thanks,

Hi @sebastien.vandewynckel ,

Please check whether you have latest version of Extension (Autodesk Fusion 360 Post Processor Utility) and correct CNC file extension.

And Also check with Post Executable location,

C:\User\username\AppData\Local\Autodesk\webdeploy\production\(id)\Applications\CAM360

HI @sebastien.vandewynckel ,

Press Ctr+Atr+G and wait for a second. If you press quickly and multiple times then it may thorugh an error.

After above solution, still, you are facing an issue then Could you please share the post processor (*.cps)file which you are using?

Thanks,

Hello @sebastien.vandewynckel

We have created a NUM turning post. It's actually in beta state.

https://cam.autodesk.com/posts?p=num_turning

So, you can test it but use it with caution.
Check the output and run with reduced rapid feed for testing.
Don't hesitate to provide feedback for improving the post.

Hello @sebastien.vandewynckel

This simply means that your Fusion installation is outdated.

The post engine installed by the march release of Fusion is 45745.

So the post is not using the absolute latest version.

But your installation had probably not been updated for a long time, so you have a version that is too old to be able to use the post.

This can be solved by updating the software, or are you using another software?

HSMWork, or InventorCAM?

Regards.

Hello @sebastien.vandewynckel

InventorCAM 2021 is using 45729. So i think that the 2019 is "too old" .

Our problem is that InventorCAM post engine may only be updated once or twice a year.

Whereas the Fusion post engine can change every two months.

It would be possible to revert to the previous properties definition. But it require some work.
