Centroid 4th axis post

Hi all,

In attempting to modify the generic Centroid post to enable a 4th axis (A axis parallel to X axis) I ran into problems.

Following the instructions on post modifying I got only so far .  My last attempt seemed to have the A axis output, but it also outputted Y values.  Possibly the biggest problem is the Centroid control requires the rotary feedrates be generated in the post, the Centroid control does not calculate them.

Okay, no responses to the request for help with a Centroid 4th axis post.

Experimenting with some of the other supplied posts, it looks like the inverse time Haas A axis post may be close.  

How do I go about contacting Autodesk to see if they can be of assistance modifying that post to be Centroid specific.

Usually, Autodesk makes generic posts only.

So they look in the community for the needs and decide what to work on.

Have you found the solution for this? I have switched from BobCad to HSM this past year and have not been able to use my 4th axis on my Centroid without going to the bobcad software for those parts and thats a real pain.

You will need to get a custom post processor written if the generic posts are not providing the required output for your machine. I offer post processor development services and happy to work out a solution for your machine! Message me if still needing assistance.
