Color-Coated Toolpaths

Color-Coated Toolpaths

I would like to color-coat my toolpaths for when others (aka night shift) take over my computer and need to post certain programs I've created. Sometimes I have an extremely lengthy program that needs to be segmented somehow, but I don't want to create a copied setup as they might think it's for a different setup. It would be nice to write them a note saying something like, "run the blue colored toolpaths, check fits/tolerances, then run the green toolpaths." The only way to differentiate right now is adding the optional sign.

Hi, Al. I suppose that does work, I was unaware of that feature. It would still be nice to have some distinct colors, in my opinion. I'll stick with the folders for now, though, thanks for the help.

great feature been using it more and more.

what is even better is if you post from the folder the gcode file name is the same as the folder name. we use alpha numeric file names

This is exactly the type of style I was looking for. Thanks, Len.

Just my two cents. The phrase is "color coded". Sorry to be grammar police. I'm sure someone will catch my errors, too.
