We are working on adding undercut support for the flow strategy. If you select an undercut tool HSMWorks will automatically generate undercut toolpath so there is no additional settings required. Beta mode must be enabled otherwise you will only get ordinary non-undercut toolpath.
This feature allows you to machine undercut fillets moving up and down that you would otherwise not be able to easily machine. See attached example. For now you can try it will the lollipop tool type. Slot mills support is not fully ready yet.
This feature will allow you to machine more parts using 3-axis/4-axis CNCs that would otherwise require a full 5-axis CNC.
