Corrupt file?

I have a project with a glitch (Fusion) that I cannot figure out. The item is a rail for a log dump train car (HO scale).  The Hooks will not show up on the final export.  The feature is showing as "NEW" component.  I cannot change it to "JOIN".  I tried to redraw this feature, but the program crashes.  Do I need to start all over again?  I have had this problem with three different drawings now.  I redrew the first two.  I don't know what is causing this, but it would be great to understand what is going wrong.   Thanks for your help.

Your model is attached.  All you needed to do is Combine all of the separate Bodies and then Remove the resulting empty Component.

Why do I need to combine anything?  I hope that it would come out as one piece.

The model I sent you is one piece with one body.  I elected to combine the 5 bodies into one which is normal.  The reason you could not get the hooks, before the mirror, to Join is because they were created in a separate Component from the bar.  I simply move Component2 body into Component1 which allows the original two hooks to Join instead of being two bodies.  In a nutshell, you cannot expect to Join a body in one component into a body in another.  Model attached where I did not combine the bodies.

There is a lot that I don't understand.  Why was something created in a separate component?  Did I do that by mistake?  Does the program assume a new component?  How did you move it?  I tried to move it, but I cannot.  It seems like I'm doing most things right, but then something weird happens along the way.  Do I need to check settings every step so that if the program assumes I want a new part, I can cancel out of it?  I have already redrawn this part because I could not figure out how to fix the one I had.   Sorry if I sound a bit frustrated.  I don't seem to be doing everything correctly with F360.
