Which mac to use

Looking to buy a Mac to run fusion on, are there any Fusion Mac users out there who could advise me? Thinking iMac standard spec (better than basic), iMac higher spec, or the lowest spec iMac Pro... I suppose I could also consider getting one of the new Macbook ARM chip laptops and a screen. Trying to understand how much power I need?

Macs as many notebooks cannot be updated with different graphics cards or memory, so get as much as you can. 16Gig memory and discrete Graphics card.

The M1 Macs have integrated graphics and I simply don't know if/what difference that makes.

Performance is not a problem on my 2017 MacBook Pro (quad code Intel) with 16Gig of memory and discrete Radeon Pro Graphics Card.
