hi there, been learning fusion 360 but after saving the last time something wierd has happened, every time i try to move the orientation with the box thing in the top right to a different view the whole drawing/bodies dissapear from view, they end up miles away with nothing left on the screen, i have spent a very long time learning on this one drawing and really dont want to loose it, any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

also..... uploading the files is not something im happy doing as it is something i might want to manufacture in the future maybe

How far away is your model from design's origin and where is the point you are orbiting around located? At times I get it to be on the corner of one of the origin planes and when that happens the model is catapulted on orbit...

i found this (the random line at the bottom) and tried deleting it but it completely ruined the drawing and i have no way of fixing it now, it seems to have its own folder and is well out of the way

any clues? i'm so disheartened by it, especially after having put 10's of hours into it

does anybody know if solidworks is a viable alternative?

also i decided to just upload the file but have no idea how to do it

There are plenty of alternative software solutions but none can save you from making strange mistakes like ending  up with a sketched line a galaxy away from the origin. Can you share the file? Maybe someone can find a way to fix it.

You could attach the model you are having issues with and let the Forum users take a look.  If you do not know how to attach your Fusion 360 model follow these easy steps. Open the model in Fusion 360, select the File menu, then Export and save as a F3D or F3Z file to your hard drive. Then use the Attachments section, of a forum post, to attach it.
