Unable to copy and past between designs

I would like to copy a body from one design and past into another but for some reason can't with Fusion 360.

I have been able to copy and past between files or designs for almost every other program I have used since 1996 except for Fusion 360.

Can you please provide me step by step instructions on how to copy a body from one design and past into another design.

You can do this but it is not a direct process, as you have discovered. You will have to copy the body via the path of creating a component containing the body in one design, then insert the component in the second design. Last you will move the body from the inserted component into the second design. See Screencast
