Triming a pattern that is extrudded

I can't trim my pattern using the split body tool, could anyone point me to what i am doing wrong?

Hi,

What I showed in the screencast is the principle.

In your case you just have to cut out the corresponding profiles.

These examples that you are attaching do not follow the technique that I demonstrated to you some time ago???

Is the first sketch fully defined? If not, why not?

Are there any unresolved issues highlighted in the Timeline?  If so, why?

I guess i had to remove bodies not delete.

Hi,

Instead of removing, you can also put the cut off parts into a group and hide them.
Timeline and browser remain clearer.
