I have tried everything in this link ...
The dashboard all reads green.
This has been going on for a couple weeks now. What else do I need to do?
Thank you.
Can you upload a copy of the diagnostic log files?
The logs may contain some further information we can use to diagnose the issue. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
The command is located in the help drop down menu. See the image in my last post for clarification.
Thanks,
There's a pace to add an attachment to your replies, below the text window. See this screenshot for a hint.
Can you upload the zip file?
Thanks,
Ah. There it is. I was going between my PC and small phone screen.
Here you go.
Thank you.
Correction. It is once again stuck in offline mode.
It went into online mode for a short while. This occurred when the latest update installed.
Hope that helps narrow down the issue. Fusion 360 is a good program. Learning how to use it is made much better by the instructables class on 3D printing!
Thank you.
Sorry to hear about the ongoing struggles!
In the log files, I'm seeing that Fusion believes there are network connectivity issues:
20170530T004053 I OnlineStatus onlineSwitchFailed: Unknown error. 20170530T004053 I OnlineStatus OfflineUI connectivity
Unfortunately, this batch of log files didn't highlight any specific reasons why. We've made some changes in the logging in the May 30th update that may help elucidate further. Could you try again and upload one more version of the diagnostic log files?
If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks,
Thanks for the log files. I'm seeing this warning:
20170531T145829 W FLAGS: failed to open flags file for write ***/Local/Autodesk/Autodesk Fusion 360/***/flags.json
This is an error while trying to save current feature flag state to disk so it can be used in offline mode. A couple of things which could cause this error are :
Restarting the computer would take care of both of these possible root causes. Otherwise you may try:
Try killing rogue background processes related to Fusion 360:
1. Opening Task Manager (CTRL + SHIFT + ESC)
2. In the Details or Processes tab, find any process named Fusion360.exe and/or adcefewebbrowser.exe and select it
3. Manually end the Task using the End Taks command
Or try renaming the %localappdata% folder:
1. Open Windows Explorer
2. Browse to C:\Users\***\Local\AppData\Autodesk\
3. Try renaming the "Autodesk Fusion 360" Folder to "Autodesk Fusion 360 Backup"
4. Restart Fusion 360
I hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Tried all of these steps. They all failed to fix it. Stubborn issue to be sure.

Which version of anti-virus software do you use? You might try adding an exception to the anti-virus software settings to see if there is any change.

Did you try running in Safemode with networking to see if there is any change in behavior?
If safemode helps, there could be another process running on the computer that is impacting the file permissions.
I look forward to your update! Please let me know if you have any questions.
Thanks,
Norton 360.
Yes I tried safemode w/net.
Just disabled Norton's Auto Protect and Firewall. Still offline.
Will try the exception next.
Thank you.
I modified a post from this forum discussion below that may help.
https://community.norton.com/en/forums/how-add-folder-exceptions
There are a couple of different exclusion types: firewall, AC scans, and SONAR/Auto-protect. I'm going to assume it's SONAR.
To add a folder to SONAR exclusions:
Note: Be sure to check the box for "Include subfolders"
9. Click "OK"
10. Click "Apply"
Then retest Fusion 360.
Does that help? I look forward to your reply.
Thanks,
Tried much of the above. No luck.
But when visiting the site for Planet Side 2. Norton complained about a SONAR.xxxxxx file and recommended a complete removal.
After installing the game. Then rebooting. I opened Fusion 360 and it is in Online mode! 😄 So far it is stable.
Thank you,
Ben
Correction. After a number of days w/o using Fusion. I loaded it only to find a message about working in offline mode too long. Then another about my internet connection not working. It automatically closed.
After a minute I reloaded it. Only to find it in offline mode and complaining about it. Then I tried to toggle the online/offline switch. It failed, but I was allowed to work in offline mode.
Would it help for you try a remote desktop session? Or more screen shots of my processes?
Thank you,
Benjamin
