I'm using Fusion 360 on Windows 7 and a basic 3D Connexion space mouse. As soon as I click on "create sketch", the mouse gets partially inverted (rotation left/right is inverted) and I can't pan the model anymore. This behaviour does not stop, even if I leave sketching mode. The only thing that fixes it is restarting Fusion, or in other words: Fusion 360 is completely useless with a 3D mouse right now.
Any idea what could be the issue?
Thanks.

Hi @ckriesi
Thanks for posting! I don't have my Spacemouse on me today, but I will test this out tomorrow and report back.
We often see these issues with outdated 3D Connexion drivers - are you certain you are using the most recent version for your hardware?

I checked just after posting - the 3D connexion driver was indeed one version behind. I couldn't try with the updated drivers though, I'll give it a shot tomorrow and see if it fixed it.
thanks,

Hi @ckriesi
Thanks again for posting! I tested this on my end and experienced no difference with the Spacemouse between sketch and model mode, so this seems likely to be related to the out-of-date drivers. Please let me know if the update helps!
Yep I just gave it a quick test with the newest drivers - everything went smooth, which is nice. Let's see if it continues this way. If it occurs again I'll make sure to first update all the drivers.
Thanks!
PS: I'm impressed by the fast support!
Hi,
1. Please show the effect in a screencast
2. The latest drivers are not always the best.
For many users, the driver setting (preferences) "Legacy" is the better choice.
