Sheet metal flat pattern DXF problems

I've had this problem in the past and I would REALLY like to figure out what causes these incredibly inconvenient issues. I've spent 3 days on this drawing only to have export problems and with fusion being completely useless in telling me where or what the problem could be.

I know editing some of the sheet metal properties after it has been flanged can cause issues for the flat pattern and I'm wondering what tool or is causing it? Even if I find a problem and solve it, search the flat pattern all over to see that there are no issues that would contribute to it, even then it will STILL give me an export dxf problem.

This has become incredibly frustrating as I'm already behind on this project, so I sent the step file to a CAD company to get them to provide the DXF files.

I look through the forum and this is a common issue that needs to be fixed, yes I am green to fusion but when a part is cut and dry with no visible issues and it still won't export its makes the process of designing it pointless.

What am I missing? Where are my core mistakes?

Any help or insight into what I could be doing wrong would be appreciated, I do enjoy the sheet metal program but I need to fix this problem to prevent further time crunches.

You are going to have to point out which sheet metal components are giving your trouble.  I have created 4 DXF exports without issue and I am tired of guessing.   Please name the components specifically you are having issues with.

Guess that would help narrow things down. Sorry about that!

I found a loophole form creating a new component for every single piece by just deleting the flat pattern after exporting them regardless though it doesn't work for any of the ones listed

I worked on Body 16 and Body 39 but could not find a reason you could not create the DXF from the flat pattern in the MODEL.  You can use the 2D Drawing method to create the DXF for the flat pattern pretty quick and that is the process my Screencast shows.  I know this is not ideal but it is a way to get your DXF files when you cannot get them otherwise.  I mentioned in the video that you really should not have made separate sheet metal bodies, you should have made sheet metal components, then you could have had a flat pattern for each component.  As it is now you have to delete the flat pattern every time you want to generate another.  I zip up Body 16 and Body 39 DXF and attached them.

Thank you for your help! This will work for this project and I greatly appreciate you taking the time to do a screencast to show the process. I will be more conscious of making components in my next project, its a big learning process in this program and I'm learning something new almost every time I use it.

Again thank you very much! @jhackney1972
