"Ghost surfaces" in the way of selecting geometry

Ever since the most recent update, I have been having issues with "ghost surfaces" getting in the way of selecting geometry features for measurement, editing, and toolpaths.  Any design feature (planes, sketches, additional bodies, etc) causes the issue.  When the visibility of all these features is turned off, the software acts like they are visible and only lets me select those items.  It is a bit tough to explain.  You can see the problem in the screencast I have included with this post.

Hey Sean,

Yeah, this is a known issue, one that we are working on getting a hotfix out for. I can't give you a "when", but it's high on our list and hopefully will be resolved sooner rather than later.

Hi Seth, thanks for the quick response.  Are there any temporary fixes that you know of, other than completely closing Fusion and restarting?

It's triggered by going into the CAM Simulation space. Don't do that until needed, for one.

Save the file, close it, open it again, should be behaving proper....until you go into Simulation again 😞

We JUST pushed out an update that should solve this issue. Please restart Fusion to trigger the download and restart (again) to consume the latest hotfix.

I'm still experiencing the same issues.  My issue is relative to hidden solids that can be selected.

As a competitor to Mastercam, F360 cam functions should only allow visible geometry to be selected.

I'm at a point in a project where this IS the main roadblock, and I'm wasting time with a workaround.

Hello, I am having exactly this problem.
Using Mac Intel Retina 5K, 27", 2020
Monterey 12.0.1

It starts after a while working on a complex model.
The only way to stop it is to save your work, close the program and open it again.

Very, very annoying.
Besides, the escape key does not work if you are in a proces of generating a body or changing its parameters.
I do not use the timeline and don't want to use it. Please do not recommend this as solution!

A very, but really very annoying feature is the "abbility" of the program to start calculating parameters as soon you type one number on the selector. If you make a mistake, it never comes out of the calculating task. I suppose this is made to make the process more fluid, but it really does not helps at all.

The only way to stop it is to kill the program, loosing at least 5 minutes of work and lots of time.
I do not understand why are the programmers making things everytime more complicated, only to "show" some "inteligence" in the program.
They should solve obvious issues, before this!
