parameter dialog box not showing up

Hi there,

I encountered a pretty weird issue today when I tried to edit the parameter from the "change parameter" function. When I clicked the "change parameter" button, the parameter dialog box did not show up.

This is a video to help better illustrating what I was describing: https://screencast.autodesk.com/main/details/ae7c1770-ea17-4c77-9f76-2e350ccb9728

Your help is much appreciated!

Jason

Do you use a second monitor as an extended screen or just one?

That's odd. Could it be possible that it's behind the active Fusion 360 window? Sometimes you can wrong into weird window over windoe behavior. Just want to rule all the possiblities out before we dive deeper.

How to tell? I tried dragging the Fusion360 window around to see if any windows are "hiding" behind it. I also tried miniziming the Fusion360 window and nothing was found. I also tried uninstall and reinstalled Fusion360 but it did not change anything. 😞

Got it. Can you share some machine specs?

I'm sorry I'm not quite sure what you meant by machine specs, but if you were asking what kind of computer I am using .... attached is a screenshot of the system info I got from control panel, let me know if this is not what you want.

Ok this helps. Have you restarted your computer after the reinstall?

Hi Keqing,

Sorry to get back to you this late. I just sent you an email. Would you be available for the skype session sometime tomorrow? I really want to solve this as soon as possible.

Thanks,

Jason

May be would be useful if you could share your display settings.

Open Display in Control Panel

Not sure - but could it be related to High DPI

Hi there,

Keqing helped me solve this issue through a skype session although the exact reason causes this is still unknown.

Thanks for your reply all the same!

It may be due to the parameters window being dragged way off screen that we couldn't see it. We ended up clearing user cache data and then restoring settings to default, restart, and that fixed the issue.

I'm having this same issue right now.  Not sure if it's due to yesterday's update or not.

I've got a full HD screen and never use a second monitor on this system.  Tried rebooting PC, clearing user cache, restoring defaults in preferences, reset to default layout followed by restarting Fusion and still no luck.

EDIT:  Weird, cleared user cache, this time it came up with the tutorials and stuff (which it didn't before,) and seemed to fix the issue.
