Match Tool "Invalid input edges" Error

I'm tying to do a pretty simple operation using the match tool in the form builder. I want to match the middle spline, highlighted in yellow in the image below, to the sketch curve which is highlighted in blue. I played around with it a bit and found that it had trouble matching edges which are a part of a triangular face, like the small faces on the end of the mesh below.

I'll attach the file to this model. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Jovan

Triangles re to be avoided at all cost in T-Spline modeling.

I've asked the T-Splines team to take a look at this.  Thanks for reporting it

So in the meantime, go ahead and work with proper quads and it'll work miraculously well.

The team is investigating.  Turns out that @TrippyLighting 's intuition is correct, as usual.  There is a limitation around Match and non quad faces.  But, we think this might be too restrictive of a limitation.  Until we figure this out, you'd be well served to follow Peter's advice (this is a good rule in general...).

Thanks for looking into it! I was able to get the shape I wanted from half of a quad ball and some edits to the form.
