I'm probably missing something obvious, but is there a way to identify which components a particular joint is connecting?

Yu can select the joint in the viewport and select "Select components" that selects the components involved in the joint in the viewport/browser.

In more complex designs this often does not provide the desired feedback. So for some (but not all joints) when you edit the joint it will show the component name:

Thanks much. One of those "obvious" things that isn't so obvious if one
doesn't know about  it.
