How to get rid of part that extruded past the body?

I’ve been struggling to extrude within the body so I resorted to extruding past the body. However, I don’t know how to get ride of the excess. I can’t delete it since it just deleted the whole part rather than just the excess.

  1. Split Body + Remove
  2. Boundary Fill (type set to Cut)

But, even better, it would be interesting to understand what problems you had extruding to a surface.

You need to attach your model to your post.  Open it in Fusion, select the File menu, then Export to your hard drive.  Attach to a reply post.
