History Marker is missing once again

I have decided to re-awaken this topic as the other topic on this subject has a solved tick - even though subsequent postings prove that it was indeed unsolved!

I guess nobody thinks to check posting when there is a green tick against it. Something else that needs sorting?

History Marker has just disappeared again. An assembly being constructed by 'insert' of components. Some functionality is still there: For example clicking in the timeline and selecting 'roll history marker here' places the actions at the right point in the timeline, the following actions are greyed out, but the marker is missing.

Open an empty (new) file and the marker is visible in that file. Go back to the file being worked and the marker still missing.

Shutdown F360 and immediately restart, open file and history marker is back.

This problem has been lurking for some time now - how about a fix?  Please?

@Swarfmaker - we would love to fix this, and have been looking for a fix for a long time.  However, we cannot fix it if we cannot reproduce it.  And, so far, we have been unable to do so in a reliable way.  If you have a recipe for a set of operations that make the history marker go away, we would be eternally grateful, and would likely have a fix in short order.

Yes I'm having the same problem as you right now. If you do find the solution elsewhere, please reply it to this comment section as it would help me (and anyone else who searches this) greatly in future projects. Thanks.
