Hi fprico!

Thanks for the suggestion, we have had other requests for 32-bit compatibility. We will see if we can make it happen!

Hi,

Thanks for answering, I know 32 bits is not one of the newest, my computer is a quadcore and I bought it 3 or 4 years ago and it was not very cheap, and at least for now I could not change the computer only to use Fusion 360 because the computer is still working well.

Fernando.

We understand that some customers still have 32bit OS. We debated 32bit long and hard, but decided that looking forward with new technology was the way to go. We don't have plans to create 32bit version of Fusion 360 at this time.

Fernando,

you won't need to buy a completely new computer. But you would need to buy a 64-bit license of Windows, and either a) replace your existing installment b) run multiple boots (clumsy) or c) do virtualization.

Kind of bad, I know.

Also, 64-bit Windows is not nearly as "compatible" in home use as 32-bit is (at least this used to be the case).

I understand Autodesk's stand on this, especially now that Fusion 360 / Sim 360 are in the development pipeline. Supporting three platforms instead of two would slow everything else. Maybe later on, they'll open to more platforms.

If you really, really want to run Fusion 360, check this: http://www.petri.co.il/virtual_run_a_64_bit_guest_operating_system_in_vmware.htm

Hi @Anonymous,

At this time, I believe that there are no plans to release Fusion for 32 bit architecture. Currently, there is no way that architecturally that Fusion can handle 32 bit. I do apologize for this, but as of this moment in time, Fusion is only supported on 64 bit architecture.

Thanks,

Peccato. Non tutti possiamo comprare PC aggiornati, ma abbiamo bisogno di studiare e utilizzare alcuni SW...

Comunque grazie per la risposta.

Starving students must have the most current computer and 64 bit capacity.  More important than food.

If you have a PC that can only use a 32 bit operating system it will not have enough performance to run Fusion. Even on a low end 64 bit PCs it does not work well, I don't see Autodesk supporting Fusion 32 bit now. You could get a Windows 10 64bit OS and install, if your PC is not up to running Win 10 it will not be up to running Fusion anyway.
