Flat pattern of curved edge

I'm currently working on an infinity pool edge and need to create a flat pattern of this lip so I can have my CNC machine cut the appropriate piece out. I can create a Flat pattern of "Body 4" easily but can't find a way to get one of "body 5".... any suggestions?

Sketches are not fully defined?

(Blue geometry should keep you up at nights.)

Separate sheet metal should be as Components.

Back in a bit...

Do you want the vertical height here or the aligned length?

the curve needs to be 2 9/16 from the chord over an 8ft long curve.... if that makes sense. its a curved pool edge so the vertical piece will be bolted to the edge and water will flow over the angle edge

Uhm, the solution was Attached to the original response yesterday.

If you need to change any of the dimensions - simply double click on the dimension.

sorry! didn't realize what you had done there but I get it now... sorta.  I looked through the timeline and get how you did everything expect the "cylindrical" and "conical" commands, I can't find those in the software at all??

also, sorry for my lack of correct terminology here, CAD is definitely not my forte

There is no "cylindrical" and "conical" command.

I simply renamed those components to facilitate communication.

It's all recorded in the Timeline - step-by-step.

Like baking a cake from a recipe.

I understand the timeline and mostly how to use it but what I don't get is how you went from a 2 dimension sweep to a 3d component. when I click on that action in the timeline all it does is highlight the component but doesn't give me any info about what happened at that step??

Uhmm, the Timeline is at the bottom of the screen.

Have you gone through the Learning and Documentation tutorials?

For that particular icon, (Create Component) Likely there is no edit feature function.

Step along to the create offset and Thicken for the menu items to populate....

Might help.....

maybe that's what I'm missing, what do you mean by "create offset"? I don't see that in the timeline at all. sorry for all this back and forth, I have 5 of these pieces to design to fit the full length of this pool edge and they all have different dimensions so I need to know how to do this start to finish

My mistake, not Offset,

but Surface Extrude -> Create SM Component (activate) -> Thicken, as New Body, Convert to SM and

Sweep -> Create SM Component (activate) -> Thicken as New Body, convert to SM.

Create Flat Patterns.

I use Create Offset a lot and misread the icons.

Might help....

so this still doesn't make sense. per your timeline which I can follow until the sheet metal:

Create sketch, create offset plane, create sketch, extrude vertical curved face, sweep angled face, magically make sheet metal???
