Fanuc B Axis(Table) Post Processor

Good morning Folks.

I've been on the trail of getting our 4th axis "B-table" to post out but I'm unable to make progress. The post processor is not outputting a usable b axis rotation g-code. Our Fanuc 18i-M doesn't like the G68.2. We've been using a stock FANUC post processor that's been working great for 3 axis jobs. Is there an existing Fanuc B Axis table post processor? Or a Clear "How-To" document that can assist? I know that y'all have been doing a great job at updating your library.

What about taking the A axis post processor and reassigning what axis is rotating?

Thank you Seth for the suggestion. I tried several post processors and landed on on that worked. Searching the forum I found a user that shared fanucv3.cps. I proved it out and it seems to be working. Thank you again.

Kind Regards - Aaron

Hi Vance,

I am looking at the same requirement. Are you able to post the fanucv3.cps file?

Many Thanks,

Simon

I have the same issue.  I have not been able to find the fanucv3.cps file while searching the forum. Any chance you could share?

Hi Daniel,

I never got a reply to my request, however I did manage to work it out. It's quite easy actually.

I have seen people try to edit the gcode file and change the axis there, but this isn't a good solution.

When you edit your machine definition, the selection is under Kinematics, but you have to highlight the part you are interested in on the orientation to get the option - where it is highlighted in the picture and depending on the configuration you have.

The post processor I have used successfully is selected under the Fusion360 library. Don't worry about the v3 as that just comes from when you save to your local library - in his case 3 times over...
