Drawings: Edges of Workpiece-Symbol Din 6784/DIN ISO 13715

Hey,

I´m doing a drawing of my part to eventually hand it over to a manufacturer.

I need to to define the edges of the workpiece and I´m missing the symbol to do that.

I dont like to do chamfers in model  so I always used those symbols.

Where can I find, or manually add those symbols?

Thanks

This symbol is not currently available in the drawing environment. You may consider adding an Idea into the Fusion 360 or voting up similar Ideas to help the development team prioritize this feature.

This one sounds similar to what you're looking for.

For now, could you add a text note or possibly show the chamfers in the drawing as a work-around?

Thanks,

Well,

I´ve figured out a work around, at least sort of.

I looked in the ASCII table if there is a symbol like a right angle or something and low and behold I found one.

These symbols can be typed by holding down ALT and typing the symbol-code from the ASCII table and then releasing the ALT key. The code for the right angle is 28 for example.

So I create a normal leader and enter this code as the text, now I got the symbol. It´s not perfect but every engineer should know whats meant. I can than add a normal text to add the dimensions.

Annoying and unpractical but it does the job, for now.

Thanks
