Canvas Image Does Not Appear When Making Drawing

Fusion 360 (v.2.0.18220) – January 29, 2024 Latest Update

Windows 10 Pro 22H2 19045.4046

I have not been able to get the Canvas Image to print in a drawing. I had followed the instructions related to adding the canvas image to an external component and have not been able to get it to work.  

Was under the impression that I would be able to see the Browser detail in the Drawing Browser but the Canvas section does not appear. 

Made sure the render was selected.  

What am I missing.

Hi @tdunlap 

We cannot show a canvas in the 2d workspace, as the canvas is not attached to any geometry. If you want to see an image file, you should use a decal. Decals are attached to faces, and can be shown in shaded views.
