Bug report: Default measurement info in the bottom-right corner not visible.

Hello!

I ran into a quite frustrating issue, the default measure info just disappeared from the bottom right corner. I'm talking about the text, that shows for example the area of a selected face, or the radius of a circle, or the minimal distance between two edges.

I'm tried all the following things (none of them helped):

- turning on and off "default measure" in preferences

- restarting computer

- uninstalling/reinstalling the program

- resetting preferences to default

- logging out/creating new account

- checked, both my macbook firmware and fusion360 version are up to date

Fusion360: 2.0.9642
Active Plan: Fusion 360, Personal
macOS 10.13.6

I would be really thankful for any helpful suggestions!

@g-andresen  Thanks for the link.

@Anonymous  Thanks for the report. We're looking into it.

In the meantime, you can set a hotkey for the Inspect > Measure command if needed to speed up your measuring workflow while we investigate. There will not be an immediate fix for this.

When UI stuff vanishes on my Mac, I often find that doing a "full screen" window then going back to a normal window tends to cure most stuff.  (or the opposite if you're already in full screen)

Thanks for the replies, unfortunatelly neither the information found on the linked thread, nor the fullscreen tip has yealded results.

It is one of the most useful and used info panels within the software, so indeed it quite crippling not to have it atm.

So thanks alot Phil, for taking this issue into your hands!

Arrgh!  Same thing just started for me too - maybe worse?  Yesterday, clicking stuff would say "1 sketch line selected" or some such thing in the lower right corner - now nothing, ever, no matter.  I'm also on Mac.

This appears to be a Mac-only bug.

Here's my mac- observe the missing info about the sketch line I selected that's not in the lower-right corner:

Here's the same thing done on my PC instead - you can see the lower right corner is workin OK on that OS (Windows 10):

This is mac only, and is 10.13 only.

Support in Fusion 360 for 10.13.6 ends in April, so to set expectations, it's possible this will only be fixed for a month or two before support for 10.13 runs out, assuming it can be fixed before then. We're working on it, but cannot promise anything at this time.

This problem was addressed last week in an update to build 2.0.9719

To receive the update:
1. Restart Fusion 360
2. Wait for the update to start, you'll see a small 1 appear on the job status icon (the clock)
3. Click on the clock icon to watch the progress
4. Click Restart when the update is ready

Please let us know what you find.

It most certainly is not a MAC only issue.  Running windows here and mine is missing too..  Very frustrating as I use it A LOT!

@pete  Thanks for refreshing this fixed issue. Are you somehow seeing it again?

First ensure you are running the latest build.

And second be sure you turn it on!

Use the optionUse the option

If neither of these steps are helpful, can you please make a video showing the problem you're seeing on your computer? (Autodesk Screencast is an excellent recorder, but any video will do)

Toolpath machining time in the manufacture workspace is also going missing now. Machining time was not being displayed in the lower right hand edge of my screen. Going into full screen on Mac brings the machining time back as another user reported.
