3D model disappears when I stitch the surface closed

Hello everyone, I`m new to this, but why has my 3D model suddenly started to disappear when I attempt to stitch or patch surfaces to close holes and make it a solid surface closed body model. Does anyone know how can I fix this issue, please?

It is literally 98% done and this started to happen. All I need is to close the holes to print 😞

@keqingsong, @jeff.strater, @TrippyLighting,  Sure could use some help guys.

Hi @sceanH6E9J ,

Thanks for posting to the Fusion 360 forum.

Can you please share an image with highlight the affected area on the model?

I am looking into this and I will get back to you once I found a solution.

Hi @sceanH6E9J ,

I did check your model, I am assuming you are trying to fill the holes with the surfaces.

To fill those surfaces you must remove the side wall surfaces from the hole inside, and then you can use the stitched surface to make a single solid.

Please let me know if this is not the case.

Hi @sceanH6E9J ,

I found an untrimmed surface causing the issue here, you can trim and the job will be done.

After trimming and applying the Stich option.

Sharing a 3D model for your reference. https://a360.co/3Yt9R33
