Weird background behavior when sketching on drawing.

I've had this problem for quite some time but now it seems to be different or worse.

I have a drawing and im trying to add a sketch and then draw on it but the background turns dark when I try and sketch... video clip attached.

Ideas?

Hi @itsnotlevel7JAHF

I think this is related to an issue in the latest update - if you turn off sketch grid for now, I bet this will go away.

Cheers,

Karina

You are correct, turning off sketch grid works. 😞

Just so you know, after I close the sketch. If "Layout Grid" is checked at the bottom in Grid and Snaps.... the dark area is still there. But unchecking it makes it go away.

Sorry, do you want me to open up another issue with this too? It bugs me and has probably done this for a year or so. Please tell me if you see what I see.

Hi,

I can only advise you to switch off the grid completely and concentrate fully on the geometric shapes in front of you.

I appreciate your effort but, I'm fairly certain I'm smart enough to go
down that road without having somebody to tell me to do that.

Hi,

To clarify:

I am not recommending this as a workaround for this error, but rather as a general optimization of the sketching process.

Sorry, I dont really know where youre going with this conversation. I replied to the person who was helping me initially. Now all you are doing is talking and saying nothing.

Switching it off and concentrating on the geometric shapes in front of me, as you put it... was a pretty obvious thing to do and it IS a work around for turning off the grid because of a bug in fusion at the moment.

Please dont reply to this, as you are only making me aggravated and it seems you are doing it just to have something to say. Im not sure why youre talking to me right now. Go away.

FYI @itsnotlevel7JAHF

We fixed the sketch drifting issue in the latest update - it should be resolved when you update to 2603.1.15.

Cheers,

Karina

I do see what you see - does this happen with just this sketch in particular? Feel free to share the design. I have had it happen once in a while, but I don't think we have a way to reproduce what 'causes' it. Any idea?

Cheers,

Karina

No, you didn't. It is still doing it today with me. How do you fix it. It literally just randomly started turning to dark type of screen.
