Update / refresh part, assembly, drawing

Now I worked some hours with Fusion.

On thing which costs me a lot of time is to update the project after a change in a part.

I have a drawing of a top assembly. Under the top assembly is a sub assembly with some parts.

Now I make a small change in a part and want to check in the drawing of the top assembly that everything fits.

So I have to save the part where I made the change.

Then I have to open the sub assembly and update it. Also save the sub assembly.

Now I have to go into the top assembly upate and save it.

Then I go to the drawing and update it.

Now I see the result.

Is there a way to get an automated update function throug the project? This costs a lot of time. Even it is not possible to skip one of the mentioned steps.

Thanks and best regards,

Bernd

1. Say you have A (version1) ----xrefs----> B (version1) ----xrefs----> C (version1).

2. Now C (version2) is saved separately.

3. Then A (version1) is opened. If you do Get all Latest (command in the upper toolbar), B (version1) is modified to reference Cv2. When A (version 1) is saved, both A (version2) and B (version2) are created so that C (version2) is used. So child B is modified in this special case, also known as deep update.

I haven't done any verification of how deep update behaves with drawing assets.

Have you tested just modifying the "part" (C in the above example) and then doing a Get All Latest command to see how the drawing updates?

Thanks,
