Unable to View or Open Previous Versions of Drawing Templates

I may be misunderstanding the intended behavior, but I’m currently unable to open or view previous versions of a drawing template in the same way that I can for model files.

Normal design file (you can open and view previous versions):

Drawing template file (you cannot open previous versions):

If this is intentional, could you clarify the reasoning behind it? From my perspective, not having version history available for drawing templates feels like a significant limitation, especially given that this functionality exists for models.

Thanks!

Hi @infinite_yeet,
Thanks for the feedback. It is an improvement and tracked as internal ticket with ID FUS-248673

Thanks

Just want to point out that this is currently possible on the legacy hubs:

This is yet another regression introduced by the Collaborative Hubs migration.

Do you have an estimated timeline for when this will be deployed to production? In my view, this represents a significant issue and a notable weakness that should be addressed.

Thanks but this is not an option as we have already upgraded to the collaborative hub.

Understood, was just pointing it out for Autodesk's visibility. This request should not be considered an "improvement", it's returning a core function that was inexplicably removed during the update. The Collaborative Hub migration has caused a number of issues for users, this is just another one to add to the list.

Thanks, that makes sense. Out of curiosity, what other issues have you noticed since the update to the Collaborative Hub? It would be nice to know as a heads-up.

Hi @infinite_yeet,

Our team is actively working on this issue. At this stage, we’re unable to provide an estimated timeline for resolution. However, we are aware that many users have raised concerns, and we are taking this feedback into account. The goal is to ensure the behavior aligns with what you see in other components.
Thanks
Lukasz
