Some bodies in design do not highlight when selected...

I have a simple design with just a few cylinders and blocks. All bodies, no components, nothing weird.

Two of my bodies do not highlight in the model when they are selected - no blue selection. I can click on them in the browser and they select - I can perform operations on them - but they do not highlight. All the others highlight.

I did a split on one of them, and the old body does not highlight, but the new one does.

Can you record a Screencast to show others this behavior and also share your model?

I'm having the same problem.

Before splitting, the component is completely selectable.

Whereas the body isn't?

after splitting: the bottom isn't highlighted.

but the top is:

I also had problems renaming the bottom until I hid the "top", box selected the "bottom" and then renamed it???

prior to that, renaming would revert back to "body 1".

I can extrude the bottom but not move it as though it has been grounded, but there is no grounded option.

Also if I make the "top" <selctable/unselectable> I get the red marker next to the "top" body:

Whereas the "bottom" body just turns grey when unselectable:

that design seems to work OK for me.  See attached video.  Maybe try closing down Fusion and re-starting it?

Why didn't I think of that 🤔

Thank you for the quick response.
