Snap problems

Hello,

I am new to Fusion 360 and am having problems with snap/osnap options that I am used to in AutoCAD...

In the attachment is screenshoot from one tutorial, how to draw a brick and I can't do the same like on tutorial...

When I draw a circle (black on picture) I am not getting tangent snap option with circle (blue on picture, red check marker) on the other side of the brick... also blue circle on picture is not visible for snap...

Also, when I am trying to start a circle or rectangle form circles (red x marker) I do not get snap option, but if I start line tool than I can do snap to circle center with not problem.

Hi,

1. on the screenshot the old UI is still shown.
2. is the black circle in the active sketch?
3. is the option autoproject activated in the preferences?

4.Try to create the blue circle in any size and then use the  tangent constraint to create a relationship to the black circle.

Hi,

Thank you very much!

It works perfect with auto project enabled!

Preferences --> Design --> Auto project edges on reference
