Simplify design for Pattern creation (file too big)

Hi,

I generated a component from a svg file. This now has a rather large file size and I even want to create a pattern of it to get a cheaper 3D-print, when all single items are connected.
Upon pattern generation I now have the problem, that Fusion lags very badly.

When looking at my design, what kind of advice for improvements can you give me?
How to reduce overall file size for example?

Thanks and kind regards

Hannes

That is pretty straight forward.

Trace the sketch with the .svg geometry with native Fusion 360 tools. Use splines for curvy stuff using the least possible amount t of splint points and work with the tangent handles to control the shape. This will make sure there is no unneeded geometry.

Make sure you fix all yellow warnings as soon as they appear.

Keep your timeline clean. Don't suppress that many items. If it's not needed, delete it.

pattern components, not bodies. Patterning bodies multiplies geometry. Patterning components just creates instances, which are pointers to a single data set.

It is easier to do if you follow Fusion 360 R.U.L.E #1
