Sheet metal part not showing bend lines.

I have a part I created in sheet metal using flanges to add a couple of bends (it's a simple bracket). I then created a flat patten from the part, and can unfold and fold it again ok. However it does not show the bend lines made from the flanges. Do I have to create all of the bends using sketches, then project those to create bend lines?

No, bend and fold lines are automatically generated by the Flat Pattern command. You will need to make sure these two are set to "show (eyeball)" when you are in the Flat Pattern mode. Attach your model and the Forum users will take a look if this does not fix your issue.

That was what I did I think. I've attached the model. Only the flat pattern in the root component, and body2 under bodies in the root component are of relevance here.

The Flat Pattern shows the fold and bend lines just fine. If you do not see them, it is time to check you video driver in your Preferences.

It's weird, it doesn't show at all for me. I've tried every driver setting - I don't have any issues with anything else on this PC (I9, 128GB RAM, RTX3080ti, M.2 drives, Win 11, all drivers up to date). It's strange that this is the only thing that doesn't show up. I'll just project the flat panel onto a sketch and use that for reference I think. Will file as a bug. Thanks.

In your screen capture, you did not expand the Bend Lines and Fold Lines section in the Browser so I cannot tell if they are on or not. Touch the arrow beside them to see what they are set on or off.

Yes they are both on, I did forget to unfold it. I've just exported the dxf and viewed it in an online viewer and they do show up, so I guess I don't need to see them in Fusion anyway 🙂

Can this be moved into the bug report forum? The feature is not working on my version of Fusion360, despite even uninstalling/reinstalling. This is certainly a bug.

Make sure your display option is set to shaded with visible edges, Just shaded will not show the bend lines.

Thanks, this fixed it! This really needs to be highlighted in the software I think as I wouldn't have even considered that as an issue!
