Good day. I Amy trying to build a bumper for my vehicle, but I am struggling a lot with the sheet metal flanges, Fusion does not seem to do what I want it to do. I am new to the Sheet metaal environment and are not sure if it is the correct way of doing it. I have attached images of the bumper that I have designed, but my corners and flanges doen not seem to line up perfectly and I am sure that I should not be using Extrude function to vut through the panels. I have also attached a Fusion file with the flange that I would like to accomplish but can not get Fusion to work with me. Please if someone can assist, or if someone knows of an online trining course for Advanced Sheet metal, if you could please share the link of the course with me. It would be much appreciated. I keep on designing bumpers, but when it comes to manufacturing, everything just keeps falling apart. Image 1 is of the bumper that I have designed but the corners and flanges does not line up. Image 2 is what I would like my Sheet metal parts to be so that I can Flat Pattern it and then cut it with our laser machine. Image 3 is a Fusion file that is also attached, Not sure if that is the way to design the bumper or should I work in the 3D environment and then change everything to sheet metal. Please if someone can assist. It would be greatly appreciated.
