@mroek So to summarize using the ISP allows you to login and use Fusion, but you get a server warning. If you go out through the Google DNS you can't login.

Regarding the radio app, I presume you've tried launching Fusion with that app shut down with no difference? Specifically going through the ISP connection.

Also, can you launch a browser and go to www.speedtest.net and run a check of your bandwidth?

Finally, it may be more expedient to follow up direct if possible. Feel free to private message me with a good number/day/time that works for you.

@baribak

Yes, using Google DNS I am unable to login, using my ISPs DNS I can login, but I get the aforementioned warning.

It isn't just the radio app that loses the internet connection, it's just that since that's a streaming app, it is noticeable. I find that really weird, to be honest.

Speedtest gives me a ping of 2 ms, and around 60 Mbps both for up and download (I have a fiber connection to my house), so bandwidth should not be the issue.

I'm in the Central European time zone, so quite off from yours (I guess you're in one of the US timezones?), but I'll PM you anyway, if it helps I can send

you the log files from Fusion.

I have been having the same or similar problems as most of the people in this forum. My problem started just before Christmas and right after windows 10 update as stuck in off-line mode, I posted a request for help but never got any resolution to the problem since then my desktop have been unable to logon and I keep getting the server verification warning unable to validate. I have worked through most of the postage solution with no luck. I have been working on my laptop using the same Internet connection with no problems. I hope someone comes up with a solution soon.
I can't help to think that the Russians are here, this is a clear and present danger.

@Zephyr958 - I'll make sure we get you some help looking into the issue.  In the meantime, do you mind posting a link to the initial request you made where you didn't get a response?

@baribak

I sent you a PM, but it appears you haven't read it.

However, now the server verification warning has disappeared. I've made no changes to my computer (except that Fusion has updated itself), so I don't know why it appears fixed. It still causes my internet connectivity to briefly drop, though. At least the first time I start Fusion. That's weird, and it would have been nice to know why, or how to best debug that. It isn't really critical, just slightly annoying.

Hi @mroek

Apologies for the delay, we were in the process of deploying an update. I did see your note and was doing some research to see what might be generating this error message. We did some work on browser connections, specifically some configurations were unable to consistently connect to their hubs which may have also helped your issue.

However the main issue I believe is due to Fusion "timing out" when we try to ascertain your entitlement status. The issue we corrected regarding data panel connections may have helped that, but what may be contributing to us timing out on an environment level is what I was looking into.

Hello Brian,
James reached out and solve my problem, he said it was unusual but specific to my system. Thanks to you

Well, the server verification issue has returned for me, so it wasn't permanently resolved, unfortunately.

Hi @mroek,

I can hopefully help you diagnose that! Can you collect your diagnostic log files (help menu within Fusion) and send those over to me at james.youmatz@autodesk.com. Hopefully those should give us a better clue as to what is going on. Also, I'm curious to see if we see anything about your internet being disconnected in the logs.

Thanks,

I've given up on this issue, and just had to turn the warning off in the preferences. It would have been better if the root cause had been found and resolved, but that didn't happen, despite me sending in the log files.

@rov_design: Just turn off the warning in the preferences (as mentioned previously in this thread). I've given up on this issue, and the Fusion team couldn't identify what causes it. There's no harm in turning off this warning message.

Ah, well that's worse, I didn't notice that. Sorry.

Could there be some firewall issues on your end, then?

Hi,

Sorry to hear of the continuing issues. I'm wondering if there's an offline issue.

Can you delete or rename the file LoginState.xml and relaunch Fusion 360? This can be found in:

  • Windows - c:\users\{username}\appdata\local\autodesk\web services
  • OSX - /users/{username}/library/application support/autodesk/web services

This should bring up the login screen.

Also, it would help if we got a copy of the log files. This should tell us where the connection failure is. You can generate these in Fusion via the Help menu (?) then Diagnostic log files.
