Reproducible hang in Sweep on macOS

Not looking for support, just reporting the bug...

 

Open the attached file and activate the Shield component. Create -> Sweep and select these three profiles:

Set the mode to Path + Guide Surface. Select the uppermost, outermost rim of the litter box as the path and the uppermost flat face of the litter box as the guide surface:

You'll have to set the extents to something other than 1 and 0; otherwise, the sweep will just fail. (This seems odd to me, but it might be legitimate given the geometry; not sure.)

When you click OK, Fusion 360 should go into permanent "beach ball" mode.

You don't need the Guide surface, as your path is horizontal, has no twist.

So insisting on a guide surface seems to me to be the problem.

As I said, I'm not looking for a modeling solution. I was getting some twist in a previous iteration and wasn't sure why, so I tried the guide surface.

 

Apps should not hang or crash, no matter how boneheaded the user.
