Hi all,

How do I get rid of the lang lines trailing to the radius center when dimensioning outer radius??

I want short lines just like dimensioning inner radius (see attachment)

Can't find it....please help, so annoying.

Thanks.

Without major surgery, the only way is to drag the outside radius to the inside of the arc it is dimensioning.

Hi @m.van.hameren

@jhackney1972 solution above is great! You can also try a Jogged Radius Dimension.

I need help or explanation on how to dimension and inside radius and pull it out of the part body outline.

It is possible to pull the radius dimension away from an outside radius.
But some radius for inside radius will not stay attached where placed when you pull the dimension away from the part outline.

see here how the radius jumps to the outside edge of what looks like a circle.  Also, there is no tail to note that it is for the radius it is referencing.
