"Unknown error" on Android app login

About a year ago I made the decision to download and install fusion 360 for use for a startup company been working on. I liked the idea of being able to access models across platforms and use mobile devices to show customers on the go.

 

However, for about the last 6 months I have been unable to login on the Android app on my cellular device. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app numerous times, and also tried to change my login password, as well as my user ID, in hopes that anything would break it free, however with every attempt I get an "Unknown error" flashed on the screen. I have no issue logging into myhub on a web browser on a desktop or mobile device, including this one, and I have no problems with the desktop client either.

 

I was hopeful that someone on this forum may have had the same issue I'm having and have an answer for me. Thanks in advance!

I am having the same issue.  The v2.3.4 workaround gets me past the login screen and I can see my files.  However, once logged in, the app forces me to update to the newest software.  After updating, I get a message: "Your session has expired.  Please log in".  Then I get the same issue at the login screen.

 

Too bad it forces me to update.

3. I tried the app a while ago without root.  I have rooted since then and same result.

3. I have tried both fusion 2.3.4 workaround, and the latest to date (2.3.7)

5. I cannot get to the login screen in the updated app.  I can in version 2.3.4, but after a forced update, must login again.

The same error.

I download the old app. Log in - ok

Download the update than

"The session has ended"

I see the same login screen with unknown error

One of my customer has the same problem, after upgrading into V.3.5.X. All they tablet Samsung Galaxy A SM-T585 (Android 8.1) got the error.

Note 9 (android version 9.0)

Fusion app 2.4.1Was working fine on previous phone, just upgraded and after the data migration no joy. Uninstalled and re installed the app same issue as previously reported.

Thinking I may have solved it folks.

Seems that one of the logon servers this app is trying to talk to is on the naughty list for the DNS level adblockers.

I was using dns.adguard.com and as soon as I reverted to no protection it works.

 

So it's a workaround for the moment but still totally not cool. Suggest the fusion team move the login stuff to unblacklisted addresses and DO NOT share them with marketing.

in 2025 still having this issue. how is this still unresolved.

using new Samsung A9 Tablets with no adblocker on them..
