"Last Updated" view in "Open" file window sorts by Day only, not the complete date.

I've just noticed this after coming back to the latest update. I did a quick search but couldn't find anyone else posting.

In the "File > Open" menu, when sorting by Last Updated, the sort order is not in true chronological order, but ordered only by the day field

In the attached screen shot you can see files from 31st of May and March appear before a file from July.

The file from "3 minutes ago" doesn't seem to fit the pattern, but all others do....

Thanks

I don't remember a time where I was not struggling with this. (Years?)

I am constantly searching with my eyes for the lines that say "xx minutes ago" to get back to my projects.

I am curious, How does something like this get past QA before release, over and over again?  It finally bugged me enough to search the net and find this thread. Lets get this fixed!

I agree, its potting the files in the order of the alphanumeric characters that make up the date field , rather than the Date itself.

Been like this for a few revisions  & Pretty amazing a bug like this got past the community for so long
