"Erase and Fill" in mesh, can't Add Weight?

I often use this feature "Erase And Fill" to make add and remove the mesh,  and now this feature doesn't exist.

can the fusion360 add the feature again.

The new one has no "weight" feature

And the old one still have the feature, but can't choose the face mesh

I hope the fusion360 can bring back the feature.

The "weight" feature got removed because the algorithm calculating the fill changed and doesn't use the weight factor anymore.

@philipp.neumannZHDP7 is there a possibility that the feature (Weight) come back to the fusion360? or can I get the old version of fusion 360? is that any similar future with that (Weight)?

I had a chat with the developer of that algorithm and he assured me that this parameter didn't do anything in the first place. Do you have any indication that it did?

For your second question: No in Fusion there is only roll forward no roll backwards.

I have it, before I will introduce myself. I'm hartanto prawibowo a young researcher from CBIOM3S (Center for Biomechanics, Biomaterials, Biomechatronic and Bio signal processing) at Diponegoro University Indonesia, we make a research about medical device and equipment so my field in medical design. i made a device use for medical equipment like circumcision training equipment, harelip training equipment for resident and cranial mandibular for medical device before surgery.
and we built it from use MRI, Xray, CT Scan And 3D scan, from .stl file. it generate to mesh in fusion 360, so I built custom and different between design and I need that feature (weight) in "erase and fill" to edit and remove the broken mesh or edit the mesh between other design because human body (it's not same)

The pic 3 is the cranial proses to open and change the skull before surgery process, its using CT Scan or MRI. and the Pic 4 is harelip from the patient for resident to trainee.

thanks for it, i hope the feature can bring back.

We found a behaviour with the underlying programming that were indeed depended on the setting of the weight slider.

We will readd this feature, in a different way, in a future Version.

@Anonymous IN the meantime you ight want to check out Autodesk Meshmixer. I would think that most of the mesh functionality in Fusion 360 was borrowed from Meshmixer.

If you have a mesh, use MM. F360 just isn't there yet with integrating MM.
