Project Creation Limit Exceeded

I'm brand new to Fusion360 and I'm going through the onboarding tutorial.  I'm logged into A360 and I want to create a new project for the onboarding tutorial.  But I got this error: "Project Creation Limit Exceeded"

I had 3 projects, so I deactivated one, but I still get this error.  What gives?

Still have the problem.  I logged out and back in, but that didn't help.

Hi Scott,

Can you try logging into your A360 and check now? You should be good to create projects now and shouldn't see Project limit exceeded message any more. Let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

It's working now. Apparently something got messed up when my trial expired and the license went to the free version.

I have this same issue to.

My license keeps expiring after just a few days, and when I re-apply, it says that it has enabled my account again.

Unfortunately I cannot create more projects (than my existing 3-4) due to "Limit Exceeded" error.

@Anonymous I am looking into the issue. The registration does not appear to be working. Could you upload a copy of your diagnostic log files from Fusion 360? There is a command located in the help menu for this. It will help to investigate the issue.

Thanks,

Thanks @Anonymous for the log files. I was able to get your account "re-synced" in the back office. Could you give it another try and let me know if this issue is ongoing or if it is resolved?

Thanks,

Can you post a copy of your diagnostic log files?

If you haven't, you may want to try signing out and signing back in.

In the Help > About dialog, you should see the entitlement type listed (e.g. student, commercial). What do you see in that dialog?

Thanks,

Having the same problem here, switched from trial to hobbyist license.  Log files are attached.

My active plan is listed as "Fusion 360 Ultimate, Startup"

Thanks

Did you just recently switch from a trial to a hobbyist? If so, how long ago did your activate the hobbyist license. The log files look like it is pulling the entitlement correctly, so it may be that that the cloud system needs a few minutes to catch up. It may be just a matter of our back office needing some time to sync. Thanks in advance for any further insight you can provide.

Thanks Nathan.

Looks like it did just need time as the next day it seems to be working fine.

Hello,

I am also having the same issue as discussed above. I moved from the free trial to the Start-up business license. Is there anything I can do to get it going. I have attached the Log Files.

Thanks for your time,

Adam

Hi @Mrgibney,

I'd be curious to see what's going on. Just to check - how long ago did you sign up as a hobbyist? Sometimes it does take a little bit to catch up, but no longer than 24 hours. If it has been more than that, can you please do me a couple of favors. One - go to the Help menu in Fusion and collect your diagnostic log files and post them here. Then, can you visit A360 and login. Any errors? Are you able to create a new project here? If not, please send me screenshots of what you see.

Thanks,
