Can you attach a file here that exhibits this behavior?
Are you running a 3DConnexion device? If yes try Calibrate.
It's slow to open now too.I'm getting the "program not responding message now as well.
Rebooted it and seems better. The model I'm working on has a lot of detail.
would that slow down the extrusion?
Could you attach the F3D file, and can we get some specs of the PC? that your using to run Fusion
Ricky
Can you record an instance of the issue occurring on your phone and upload it to the forum if this is a repeating issue please.
Your specs seem fine for Fusion
So I took a look at your file and timeline in general, I saw a lot of yellow issues within sketches and extrusions, so I can only assume that you misused the delete feature which removed necessary reference data. This is just a wild guess but I'm presuming it is most likely because of Fusion 360 having to work on cache data only without the original data which is potentially causing your PC to slow down.
Regarding the sketch I zoomed in on in the photo, Are you tracing an image and just extruding it upwards to create the design of this badge your making? as there may be a more efficient way to achieve your desired end result with either an application for fusion 360 called Salvador project or just another method that could drastically reduce your timeline,
Could you show your reference photo and explain your end goal please?
Ricky
It's a bit rushed but is this the rough layout of what you're trying to achieve? from the name I'm guessing it's a badge, there should be enough room towards the centre "leaf"? Canadian leaf? to fit a pin in.

Hi Ricky.
I'm making a trailer hitch insert for a friend that served in the Airborne Regiment.
I'm going to print it in multiple colours which is why I have the different layers.
I dug around the internet and found another picture of the hat badge that doesn't see to be as detailed.
I'm going to try extruding that one.
using Project Salvador may help you with the process:
Rather than having the many sketches you had originally.
Just to check, after downloading Project Salvador, you ran the application so Fusion can detect it? as in attempt to open the Project Salvador file you downloaded.
If so, then just follow the video below and you can apply Project Salvador:
*ignore the fact that I somehow enabled another application alongside Salvador
Hope it helps,
Ricky
Tks. It was installed..I just couldn't find the link to it.
Time for a coffee and more frustration. lol
