Hello,

i’m working in a technical security company, that sells sensors and cameras etc. and sometimes i 3d print some boxes for like arduino controlers or similar stuff.

I was using blender for modeling stuff like that, however i noticed that autodesk has free version of fusion (for personal use).

Can i use it for modeling stuff, since we dont sell the products i model, or am i supposed to use the commercial license?

I believe that, as long as you are not selling the items you create, you can use the Personal version for personal projects without any restriction.

However, some features of the product are not available in the Personal version.  For instance, configurations, edit in place of external components are two limitations that I am aware of in Design.  I also know that there are limitations in the Manufacturing area, in CNC.  For more info, see:  Fusion Personal License
