Pattern Bug (Unable to alter selection of features after creation)

When creating a circular pattern and select multiple features to pattern, everything works as expected. Then, after the pattern has been created, if you try to open the pattern feature and change the selection of features (add additional features to pattern), it is impossible. The only way to add features to am existing feature pattern is to delete the pattern and recreate it. This is obviously not parametric in any way and can completely break your model if downstream features rely on your original pattern. 

this can result in being forced to spend a lot of time fixing references.

Please don't ask for a model, just try it and you will be able to reproduce it.

Can you File>Export your *.f3d file to your local drive and then Attach it here to a Reply?

Hold the Ctrl or CMD key - works for me.

As I said, you don't need my file. You can reproduce it easily in any f3d document.
1. create a part with 2 or more compounding features.
2. create a pattern of features and select one of your features.

3. click ok to close the pattern dialogue.

4. reopen the pattern feature you just created and try to change the selection of features to more than 1 feature. (it is impossible).

obviously deleting and recreating the feature allows you to select more than one feature, but if you are editing a pattern that is far back in your feature tree, then it will break your entire parametric model if you have to delete the old one.

Note, actually just clicking away from the selection field in the pattern dialogue box prevents you from going back into it and adding more features to the selection.

Seems possible for me.  The key (and this is true for any Fusion command with selection, to add to the selection) hold down CTRL (CMD on Mac).  This allows you to select more of anything (profiles in an Extrude, features in a pattern)

I just had this problem and searched for the answer.   The part about the CTRL key worked for me BUT!! you need to press the CTRL key for each feature you want to add.  You don't just hold the CTRL key down and click a few things... it's CTRL-click-relase-CTRL-press-CTRL-click... etc.

It's stupid, but it works.

I do not see that interaction.  In the video below (which, unfortunately, does not show button click), when I edited the pattern, I was able to select two features with one press of CMD (I was on a Mac).  This could be data-specific, so if you can share a model and a video that shows that you cannot select multiple features during feature pattern edit, we'd certainly be interested.
