Need help with turning patch surfaces into solid bodies

Hi there,

I am extremely new to fusion 360, very little experience and mostly self-taught so I'm not really sure what I'm doing. My first big multi-part project is a Red Hood cosplay helmet and I am having issues changing the outer shell from the orange pasta noodle looking surface bodies into the regular surface body to combine the two. I believe I attached the right file so that anyone can view the file and change it but if not please let me know what I need instead and how to do it. Again, super inexperienced but very interested in learning these things. Any and all help would be extremely appreciated,

Thanks!

Use web browser forum to Reply, not email.

File>Export and then Attach your *.f3d file here.

I can't see .*f3d, only "*.igs, *.iges, *.sat, *.smt, *.stp, *.step." Are any of those compatible with what you need?

I'm really sorry but when I'm trying to add the *.iges file under "Browse Files to Attach" and hitting "Post," my window keeps refreshing and kicking the file out? I really wish I could help more here but I don't know what's happening.

I don't know why I don't have that option but I did just get this error message "Warning: Local export to f3z is not supported for designs with referenced components. Please view design details on web and export there."

No panic, f3z means you have imported files in the main file, you will need a shared downloadable link, and

add that to a post, a fully native file without linked files is f3d.

Sorry about that
