I went through all of the setting and permissions..   so I created a new user and that seemed to work for install..   I just don't know what I'm missing in my Main User account that is denying access....       When I did create a new user.. a little popup appeared to ALLOW...  I cannot seem to get that anymore

I do not understand how my MAIN User account, which has full admin rights, cannot have Fusion installed!!!!  It works if you create a new Admin User.. BUT not on my main account.  It is so frustrating.. I am going to abandon Autodesk and Fusion and seek a new CAD!

@knock you can check in your macOS setting for allowing access to Fusion that may be causing Fusion to not install. We can help to look into what could be happening with this particular account but if you have already moved on, we completely understand. Apologies for the experience you have been having with Fusion.

@knock before we start with anything else can you please try the below?

1.Go to launchpad- Uninstall Autodesk Fusion
1 Go to /Users/user/Library/Application Support (Finder - Go - go to folder - /Users/your user name/Library/Application Support/)
2 Delete the Autodesk folder
3. Delete the shortcut that you use to launch Fusion
4. Restart your machine
5. Now install Fusion again.

Done...  Autodesk is nowhere to be found on my Mac.  I restarted machine.  Tried to Install.. Still get Errno 13 message.  Installer goes all the way to 99% and I get that error message.

@knock "Autodesk is nowhere to be found on my Mac" - IF you go to finder and find folder  ~/library/Application options folder you are not seeing Autodesk folder? Can you screen grab what folders you see in this location?

@knock This is not the location we want but the user level application support. So let's try this a different way.

1 GO - Go to folder
2. Type /users/- it should show you your user name
3. /Users/user name/ type library /Application support

Now you should see the Autodesk folder.

So I found the AutoDesk folder and deleted it... I did a shutdown and restart and attempted to re-install.  This time it was different and took longer than prior attempts.  A pop-up appeared that said it was Verifying Fusion.  All looked well until it hit 99% and I got the Errno 13 message...   attached is my log

SOLVED!!!!

I found that /users/username/Applications folder only had "System" as READ/WRITE...   I had to add my username to the folder and give full permissions..  all good and installed..

Thanks for the outstanding support... I was sooooo close to moving onto another product...

In my case, the solution to the installation problem is to grant 'Application Management' permission to the 'Install Autodesk Fusion' program.

1. Open 'System settings'
2. Select 'Privacy & Security' from main menu list
3. Select 'App Management' from list in 'Privacy & Security'
4. Turn the switch to the on position against the 'Install Autodesk Fusion' application
5. Start the installation

I hope this solution will help all future users.
