V.2.0.13619

We fixed an issue where Mirror Toolpath was passing the wrong cutter compensation value.

V.2.0.13618

This update fixes a few outstanding issues:

  • Fixed issue where modifying an inserted canvas that was previously calibrated caused Fusion 360 to lose the calibrated distance.

  • Fixed issue where inspection toolpaths were incorrectly expanded into linear and rapid moves if the cycle is unsupported.

  • Fixed an error originally reported by monti.eng2020 where post properties were reset unexpectedly in the NC Program.

  • Fixed a crash issue relating to starting the Measure command from the Manufacture workspace.

  • Fixed an issue where the survey dialog was displayed on a different screen from the Fusion 360 window when using Fusion 360 on the non-primary screen.

  • Fixed a crash issues related to the Notification system, Simulation environment and shutting down Fusion 360.

  • Fixed possible crash occurring in 2D Contour and 2D Pocket operations with arcs in the input paths.

@werkplaatsZ45TW , Thanks for the feedback. Have you double checked that your running Fusion 360  with your Commercial or Start-up subscription ?
Also please double check that you have updated to the latest version of Fusion 360.

I've attached the link which shows it off in the latest What's New video (Also conveniently timestamped for you) :

https://youtu.be/UGmaB9dqCGI?t=108

If this continues to be a problem, please create a ticket from your account.

Kind Regards

Kieran

@werkplaatsZ45TW

Try selecting Measure from the Inspect Menu at the top of the window and see if you get the drop down for WCS from there. This is the only way it shows up for me. Does not work if I just use the I key shortcut for Inspect.

Thanks,

Indeed, that works, the one in the toolbar doesn't work, i pin the one from the inspect dropdown menu to the toolbar, now i have 2 measure icons in the toolbar... hahaha, weird. One works with the wcs menu and the original one doesn't.

Maybe a bit of fine tuning here is wanted.

Well, another update, and another hang on Hibernate of the Windows 10 PC afterwards. I've been reporting this for months, posted this in support forum:

https://forums.autodesk.com/t5/fusion-360-support/desktop-pc-hangs-in-hibernate-after-every-fusion-u...

with no reply at all from Autodesk. This happens EVERY time after Fusion updates, and ONLY after Fusion updates. There were no other updates to Windows or any other apps any of these times. Its been going on for a long time, but it wasn't till more recently that I realized it was connected somehow to Fusion updates. PLEASE have someone look into this! Very annoying to have to hard-boot the system after every Fusion update.

What about Fusion simply closing down without any warning. It have been driving be insane for the past 3 weeks and happening at least once per day. I use Fusion daily for 10-14 hours per day. in the design and manufacturing workspaces and it has never been as bad as it currently is. I would almost go as far aas saying I have never really had any major issues with Fusion regardless of other people's experiences up until now.

If you check the new information in the Korean version, it will only come out as June 2021 information.

If it's an English version, it comes out normally.
Please correct the new information error in the Korean version.

I can confirm that its different if you use the shortcut I for measuring or click Inspect the inspect Icon. I always use the keyboard shortcut, so its a bit weird

Glad it worked for you. We will have to leave it up to the Fusion Designers why using the "I" keyboard shortcut key brings one to a different interface then clicking on the measure selection from the toolbar. Maybe a feature, maybe different options to measure, maybe an oversight on the interface, I do not know.

Hello,

After latest update:SS- 2022-07-25 at 22.45.03.png

Despite 4 subsequent updates pushed out since July 12th, Fusion continues to perpetually crash, cannot generate a successful program, you guys have pushed a completely unstable / unusable product as of July 12th update.

I am sorry to interrupt the negative vibes here, but i fully apprechiate your intentions concerning the  QoL-stuff.

Speedups and optimizations and partial rewrites are essential for the futur scalability of Fusion. I cannot speak to the quality of your new implementations yet but it seems a step in the right direction.

I totally wish that QoL-improvements will continue and be prioritized over new core-features for months or even a year to come. Including actual Linux support for example (the QoL in a VM is not good).

Update broke all of my hardware shortcut links.

I have a Logi keyboard, Logi Mouse and a Xencelabs Quick Keys keypad.  I set them up for keystroke shortcuts in Fusion 360, but whenever there is an update, the location changes (there is often an obscure folder location for the .exe), and all of my devices lose the ability to see that the app is running, so they will NOT allow me to use any of the shortcuts I make. On top of that, The Xencelabs Quick Keys keypad can support 40 keystrokes per application, which takes a HUGE amount of time to fix, requiring the application be deleted from the list, located in it obscure location, then ALL keystrokes needing reprogramming.  THIS SUCKS!!!!!!  Please fix this so that the location remains in the same place. any time you push an update!!!!
