Insert Derive directs me to old version

When trying to insert a derive component into my current project Fusion opens up a previous version of the component (v7 instead of v11).  I've saved both project repeatedly. Fusion does seem know that it's directing me to an old version as it gives me a yellow warning triangle on the upper left. When I click on this to open the current version the "derive" dialogue disappears so I'm still stuck. 

I've just quit Fusion and am attempting to restart but now the program is hung up and won't start... Hopefully rebooting my computer will help.

I've figured it out. Fusion was directing me to a recovered file from a time when the app crashed when I was working on v7 of the derive design. I deleted the recovered file and "insert derive" now takes me to the new v11 file.

Here is the screenshot from yesterday and one from this morning showing the  dialogue box I got notifying me of the recovered design.  I don't know why the latter didn't pop up yesterday.
